On September 14th, the Institute’s Director of Advocacy Olga Kikou will be in Warsaw, Poland to speak at this year’s Conference on Animal Rights in Europe (CARE) Conference organized by Anima International. Olga will discuss the factors accounting for the blocking of the revision of EU farm animal welfare legislation.
On December 5th, Hugo Menotti (Legal Advocacy Manager) will speak at a conference at the University of Bologna, “Istanze Di Soggettività Fra Mondo Naturale e Mondo Artificiale” (Instances Of Subjectivity Between Natural And Artificial Worlds). His presentation will be about the legal status of animals in France.
On November 26th, Junior Researcher Gladys Le Goff took the floor at the French National Assembly, contributing to a hearing on the recent motion for an EU Resolution to adapt the legal status of animals in sanctuaries.
Le 5 décembre, Hugo Menotti interviendra lors d’un colloque organisé par l’université de Bologne consacré à la subjectivité en droit. Hugo y présentera (en italien) sur le thème du statut juridique de l’animal en droit français.
