Drowned and Forgotten: Farm Animals Are Europe’s Silent Flood Victims

Alice Di Concetto will be a speaker at Lewis & Clark Law School’s Center for Animal Law Studies’ inaugural International Aquaculture Law & Policy Symposium on June 5, 2026 at the University of Birmingham, UK. This one-day, in-person event is being held in collaboration with co-hosts Aquatic Life Institute (ALI) and the Multispecies Collective.

Ahead of the first “Food Dialogue,” which will take place on March 5th at the Commission, we joined forced with 15 civil society organizations and sent a joint letter to Commissioners Stéphane Séjourné, Christophe Hansen, and Oliver Varhelyi urging them to take strong measures regarding public food procurement in the EU.
